He graduated from Orange Glen High School in Escondido and pursued his studies in California. He went to California State University, in San Marcos, before moving to Ohio to attend the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. The former Escondido high school student was proud to have graduated in the top of his clinical class at the School of Dental Medicine.
