Dr. Campbell has undergone additional years of specialized dental education and training to deliver the best oral treatment to your children. It’s no surprise that children have a hard time receiving treatment due to their fear of equipment, apprehension of being in a new environment, and difficulty remaining quiet for the duration of a visit. We’ve set a goal for ourselves to establish a fun and peaceful environment where your child may receive quality dental care. We are qualified and experienced in assisting kids with special needs and acute anxiety. Developing a solid relationship with the dentist early in a kid’s life is crucial since it can influence how they treat their teeth in the future. We believe that children should be taught how to properly care for their teeth to avoid dental problems in the future. We spend extra time physically showing kids how to brush and floss their teeth so they may develop excellent habits for the rest of their lives.
We want your child to feel comfortable as soon as they enter our practice. Our waiting area is designed specifically for children, with books and toys to entertain them. We understand how critical it is for children to have a clear grasp of what will happen during their dental treatment. We go over each instrument in detail, including how it will be used and what the tool feels like. The child will gain trust and confidence in the dentist due to this. To divert and relax children during dental treatments, they can choose a movie to view on a television screen above the dentist’s chair.
Please let us know if you know that your child is anxious or nervous about coming to the dentist’s office. We want to make sure that they feel comfortable and safe. We have worked with kids for several years, and we know how important it is for them to relax to get the proper treatment. We are willing to make accommodations for your kids if they are nervous. We also offer nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas. We administer laughing gas through a face mask. This gas helps relax your child, but they will still be fully conscious. The gas will wear off as soon as normal oxygen is breathed again. Please let us know if you think your child will benefit from laughing gas!
